Technology adoption

“We’re putting in new technology and I need people to actually use it”

This might be you if:

  • The technical build is progressing but the business feels disconnected from it
  • You’re rolling out across multiple markets and each one wants something different
  • The rollout has slipped and you’re not sure why
  • Training has happened, but people are still working around the system
  • Adoption numbers are lower than expected and nobody can explain the gap

Technology projects rarely fail on the technology. They fail because the organisation was not ready for the change, because those affected were engaged too late, or because what the business actually needed was never properly translated into what was built.

Every technology or operational change is ultimately a change to how people work — their routines, their responsibilities, the structure of their day. Treating that as secondary is the most common reason a well-built system fails to deliver its expected return.

We work between the teams delivering the change and the people it affects, whichever function is leading it. That means ensuring the solution reflects how the business genuinely operates, that those affected understand what is changing and what it means for them, and that adoption is measured rather than assumed. Handled properly, this is not a slower route to delivery. It is usually the faster one, because it prevents the rework, resistance and workarounds that surface when the human impact is addressed too late.

Where we’ve done this

At PureGym, Florencia led both the analysis and the change journey for a Group-level technology transformation across the UK, Switzerland and Denmark. The programme achieved adoption across departments, measurable productivity gains, and an uplift in gym sign-up conversion.

At Elevate Global, a proprietary staffing management system had already failed to launch in its first market before Florencia joined. She led the relaunch, which succeeded, and then took the system into every remaining market in record time. The results included productivity improvements in the staffing and payroll teams, higher engagement from thousands of events staff, and successful integration with other proprietary technology that gave the business and its clients materially better data and insight. That integration also established the foundation for AI capabilities the company continues to build on today.

Engagements run as fixed-term project contracts or retained advisory, and begin with an initial conversation to establish scope and fit. There is no cost or obligation attached to it. More on how we work.
